Notre Dame is an independent Catholic day school set in 26 acres of beautiful, rural Surrey parkland. When the school started to get requests for extension of their provision to include 6th form they saw the need to develop a space that would help not only in delivering excellent educational results but also a space that the school and the students would be proud of.
The brief very much centered on including the views and feedback from some of the students and this allowed us to design a very forward-looking space which had an appeal to the users of the space.
Using bold colours to some areas and soft inviting tones in others, the scheme pulled together several rooms including, library, locker room, breakout zone and the head’s office.
